There is 1 designated space for disable people adjacent to the Mill. Further disabled visitors can be dropped at the Mill and park in the main car park, which is approx. 100m from the mill across two public roads
Portable ramp (1800mm) is available for access to view Mill.
Access is through door (1m wide) via 2 steps (approx. 250mm each) to ascend and 2 steps (approx. 250mm each) to descend. Portable ramp (1800mm) available. Floor surface consists of flag stones and wood. Floors are uneven in places due to the historic nature of the building. First floor is accessed via steep wooden steps

In a peaceful corner of Dorset stands White Mill, nestled on the River Stour in the Kingston Lacy estate. Discover more about the last surviving mill on this stretch of the river.
Starting by an 18th-century mill, this moderate walk goes over rough pasture, alongside the River Stour, through the picturesque village of Shapwick and returns on lanes to White Mill.
Enjoy a relaxing circular walk through the water meadows by the River Stour at Kingston Lacy, taking in short stretches on scenic country lanes and along gravel tracks.
Enjoy impressive views across the Dorset countryside on this circular walk, while discovering the history, flora and fauna of the Iron Age hillfort of Badbury Rings.
Walk around the network of droves and along the tree-lined Beech Avenue at Kingston Lacy. This circular trail takes you back along the outskirts of the Kingston Lacy parkland.

An 18th-century corn mill in a peaceful, rural setting. Rebuilt in 1776 on a site marked in the Domesday Book, this substantial mill was extensively repaired in 1994 and still retains its original elm and applewood machinery (now too fragile to be used).
Enjoy a stroll over White Mill bridge or sit in the garden and enjoy the tranquillity of the River Stour.
