Warm up with a hot drink

Ask our café staff for a hot drinks loyalty card and collect stamps at all National Trust cafés when you buy a cup of coffee or tea. Collect nine stamps and get your tenth cuppa on the house.

You can also visit Penny Pot in Edale where we hold our popular Tales & Tunes event nights throughout the year and the Longshaw café who use produce grown in their kitchen garden.

Longer visit?

If you'd like to spend more than one day in the White Peak then we have some places you could stay overnight. There are options for different group sizes, from a caravan pitch to group accommodation.

Look out for the barn at the entrance to Dovedale, where you can buy souvenirs, maps as well as tasty ice creams. It may look like a traditional stone barn, but we'll let you in to a little secret... it's not made from stone and is actually on wheels so it can be removed from the valley at night!

Please note, the nearest National Trust car park to Dovedale is down the road at Ilam Park.
