Come stargazing at Newton's home
It's that time of year again - dark evenings in February mean stargazing at Woolsthorpe. Local astronomers and our friends from the Lincs Stardome, plus talks and the Science Discovery Centre will make this an unmissable event - but book early, as tickets for the Stardome go very quickly! For details see below.
British Science Week
As usual we'll be taking part in British Science Week in March 2015, with activities for all the family led by our intrepid Science volunteers: a 'Make it Fly!' weekend on 14-15 March and 'The Mystery of Time' on 21-22 March.
Keep an eye on these pages for more information nearer the time.
Here we come a-wassailing
'In Woolsthorpe in Lincolnshire lives a fine tree, an apple fell from it by sheer gravity..' Every year we wassail the trees in the orchard, and especially the Flower of Kent apple tree which inspired Isaac Newton and his great thoughts on gravity with cake and singing. Join us on Saturday 17 January at 12 noon.
