You'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to dining and shopping at Attingham.

We have four fantastic catering outlets for you to choose from. Each one has its own distinctive menu and style - from relaxing afternoon tea at Lady Berwick's to hearty snacks outdoors at The Greedy Pig.

When it comes to a bit of retail therapy, enjoy our shop packed full of interesting gifts, browse the shelves in our welcoming secondhand bookshop or visit the atmospheric Butler's Pantry in the mansion.

Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea at Lady Berwick's, reflecting the 1920s style of one of Attingham's key figures.

Carriage House Café

You'll find light lunches, ice creams, cakes, drinks, sausage rolls and great service in our cafe. Try our 'fidget pasties' - a local Shropshire recipe exclusive to the Carriage House - three-sided pasties containing free range ham, apple and sage. Or pop in for breakfast and try our bacon rolls.

Mansion Tearoom

Relax in the tea-room and taste our home-grown ingredients, including Walled Garden salads, sauces and fruits. Take an afternoon cream tea break and indulge in our home-baked cakes and scones. Or have lunch, with a wide selection including tuna mayonnaise jacket potatoes and salmon, cream cheese and thyme sandwiches.

The Greedy Pig

The Greedy Pig is new for 2012. It offers free-range local sausages, handmade cakes, delicious soups, ice cream and hot and cold drinks. You can find it near the Orchard and Walled Garden, giving you the chance to grab a snack in this popular part of the Estate. Opening times vary and depend on the weather, but we aim to open most weekends and during school holidays.

With ranges including Cath Kidston and Fallen Fruit, you’re sure to find something special. We have local produce, such as Hand Made In Ludlow and Great Ness Farm oils. We sell our home-grown flowers and vegetables. Or you could buy a gift voucher.

The Secondhand Bookshop

With comfy sofas and armchairs, our secondhand bookshop is an ideal place to relax and browse our shelves. Whether you like fiction, biographies, history, science or DIY, you'll find it here. Our bookshop relies on donations - we welcome any unwanted books you can donate.

The Butler's Pantry

New for 2012, our Butler's Pantry shop opens two new rooms to the public, evoking the atmosphere and history of life downstairs in a large mansion. There's a superb range of related souvenirs and gifts on offer.
