New for 2026 Imagining India is a spotlight exhibition featuring historic objects from Attingham's collection. See a rare recently conserved panoramic artwork alongside prints, ceramics, books, clocks, militaria and miniatures all inspired by India.

Your visit to this exhibition will start with a short introductory talk. After this there are three rooms to explore, containing historic objects from Attingham’s collection, all inspired by India.
The exhibition features a rare panoramic artwork conserved in 2022-3, and will explore its history, from its complex subject matter to its fascinating manufacturing process, set alongside historic items from Attingham's collection, inspired by India.
Please meet in the Picture Gallery of the Mansion 5 minutes before your entry time to the exhibition, where you will be taken to the exhibition on the first floor. Recommended duration of visit 30-45 minutes.
Standard admission charges will also apply for non-members of the National Trust, payable on arrival at Visitor Reception.

Please meet in the Picture Gallery 5 minutes before your entry time to the exhibition. You will be collected from the Picture Gallery and taken to the exhibition location on the first floor.
- Accessibility
Access to the first floor is via stairs. The nearest toilets are located in the West Pavilion of the Mansion. Assistance dogs only on the tour and inside the Mansion.

Booking is advised. Bookings close at 8am on the day. There are a maximum of 12 people per entry time for the exhibition. Spare tickets may be available at Visitor Reception on the day.
