We've lots of gifts available for mum this season in the shop. There are pretty scarves, handmade jewellery and bags perfect for the beach. 

There are things for dad, too. Our gardening gloves are great for those with green fingers. Or choose some local West Berkshire beer for him to try.

Tutts Clump cider

Enjoy a tipple of our locally brewed cider from our tea-room or shop.

Based in Bradfield, this local supplier brews using locally grown eating, cooking and crab apples to create very distinctive flavours.

Have you tried nettle soup?

Our soups are made from scratch on a daily basis using locally sourced ingredients.

We have even created a recipe using nettles collected from our parkland. Whenever you choose to visit, the selection will change.

Soups on the menu this month include: nettle, cauliflower, spinach, watercress.

Plants for sale

We've a range of seasonal shrubs and herbs on display outside the shop.

They're all sourced from nurseries in Devon and are unusual and robust specimens.

Located at the back of the shop, our second-hand bookshop is the place to pick up a bargain.

We've a variety of fiction and non-fiction books. Feel free to sit and peruse the books with a coffee.
