Belton venison

Our Belton venison has won the top Fine Farm Produce Award for 2013. It's been described as 'one of the best meat products in the country' by top-chef Richard McGeown.

Enjoy our signature dish, Belton venison casserole, in the Stables Restaurant or buy fresh venison in our Coach House Shop.

The Ride Play Café

Enjoy the Ride Café, whilst the kids burn off energy in the play area

The Ride Play Café brings outdoor adventure play indoors. The structures were inspired by Belton so there's a boat house, bee hives and Bellmount Tower.

Access to the Ride is free with grounds admission. We have a value for money children's menu, as well as daily specials for grown ups. We're open every day from 10.30am. Free wifi.

What’s on today’s menu

The Stables open daily from 11am - 4pm. Lunch is served between 12pm-2pm with soup, snacks and homemade cakes available all day. Our winter dishes are:

  • Belton venison casserole or venison cottage pie
  • Spicy bean stew
  • Chef's daily special

Recipe of the month

Here at Belton, we have access to some of the best venison in the land and we thought we'd share a really easy casserole recipe with you.

The great thing about it is that you can alter ingredients and quantities to make it your own. For added sweetness, try adding cranberry or redcurrant jelly before serving or, for a really rich flavour, use ale instead of wine.

Venison casserole benefits from a long slow cook; the longer you cook it, the more the sauce will thicken and the flavours intensify.
