Whether you're a dog walker, a runner or out on a family ramble, our 1500 acre parkland welcomes you to explore miles of walks, go orienteering or just find the Iron Age hillfort.

Stay longer

Holiday in the working walled garden in Garden Cottage, situated next door to the castle or dog lovers can, step back to tranquillity with Ambrey Cottage. We've got two great places to stay at the heart of our ancient estate.

It's party time

One glamorous evening from 14 January 1930 has been recreated inside the dining room. The Ludlow hunt ball and its exotic menu tell you part of the story of Sir James Croft and his lavish lifestyle.

Our work

Our rangers will be working on restoring parts of our woodland back to ancient parkland during the coming months. You can visit any time to see or hear about the work so far and we'll be updating these pages with more information very soon.
