Accessible route and/or map
The green route is accessible from the visitor centre to the old castle ruins. It is 0.7km/0.4 miles long.
Accessible toilet
There are accessible toilets available in the visitor centre, in the campers block at the top of the car park and at the riding school. The accessible toilets at the campers block and riding school are open all year round. The visitor centre toilets are closed in winter.
Designated parking
There are designated disabled parking spaces in the holiday cottage courtyard, beside the door to the visitor centre and at the riding school.
Induction loop
An induction loop is installed in the visitor centre.
Level access to food outlet
There is level access to the tearoom through the visitor centre and exhibition area.
Level access/terrain
The majority of trails around the estate are accessible for mobility scooters and buggies. However some of the trails are not suitable for wheelchair access. The green route from the visitor centre to the old castle ruins is accessible.
Powered mobility vehicle available
We have two powered mobility scooters available from the visitor centre. Please contact us directly to book 028 6773 8118.
Ramped access/slopes
There is a slope from the visitor centre to the jetty area to start the trail to the old castle ruins.
Seating available
There is seating available across the site.
Steps/uneven terrain
There is uneven terrain in the car park and the trails are made from gravel.
