General

  • The house reopens on 16 February 2013
  • The park, the gardens, the restaurant and the shop are open all year round
  • Dogs are welcome on leads in the parkland
  • For information on what's on each day pop into the visitor reception on arrival
  • Car parking is free for National Trust members, or £2 for non-members which is redeemable in the restaurant or shop
  • Disabled parking is available at the top end of the visitor car park
  • A shuttle service runs between the visitor reception and the hall every 15 minutes

Family

  • Baby feeding facilities are available in the Great Barn restaurant
  • Baby changing facilities provided in the Stableyard
  • All meals in the restaurant are available in child size portions
  • Explorer Tracker Packs available for garden and park from the visitor reception building
  • Hands on activities and quizzes in the hall

  • Mobility parking in main car park, 100 yards from visitor reception
