Camping pods at Cloud Farm Campsite

Perfect for a weekend away, camping pods offer the chance to relax without having to pitch a tent yourself. So whether you’re a couple looking to explore, or a family hoping to get some adventures together, the pods provide an opportunity for an easy get-away.

Plus pods are a little larger than a standard pod and are fitted out to provide extra comfort. They are suitable for either 2 adults and 2 children, or a maximum of 3 adults. Inside, the front section has 2 single beds with mattresses, which are designed to be used as seating during the daytime. The back section has mattresses for another two people, which can be folded up to provide two further seats. There is plenty of storage room under the two single beds and hooks for hanging rucksacks and jackets. The pods have electric lights, including a porch light and plug sockets that include USB charging. They are supplied with underfloor heating as standard and are fully insulated.

Outside, there’s a picnic bench and fire pit, where you can sit and enjoy the views over the Lorna Doone Valley.

Prices are per night and include all occupants and 1 vehicle. Vehicles can be parked nearby, or in our campsite carpark.

What you need to bring

Think of a pod as a replacement for your tent. You'll need to bring everything you would bring if you were camping in your tent, such as a sleeping bag, pots and pans, a stove and camping chairs. As a minimum, we provide mattresses, although some campers still like to put their sleeping mat on top.
