Weston Farm Campsite rules

To ensure everyone who stays at Weston Farm Campsite has a great holiday, we have a few simple site rules.

Arrival times

All new arrivals are asked to check in at reception between 2pm and 6pm. Please book a pitch online in advance of arrival.

Departure times

Please depart from the pitch by 11am.

Tent pitches

The standard charge is based on one adult, and includes a single tent and one car. There are additional charges for each additional person. Each grass pitch is suitable for one tent up to a maximum size of 8m x 6m. Sleeping up to 6 persons (maximum 4 adults). One tent only per pitch.

Maximum occupancy per pitch

The maximum occupancy per tent pitch is six people. The maximum number of adults allowed per pitch is four.

Occupation of bell tents is limited to either 3 adults only or 2 adults and 2 children only.

Minimum stay

For all bookings there is a minimum stay of one night.

Groups

We do not accept groups of more than 6 adults without prior permission from the campsite manager. Ours site is not suitable for stag, hen or large birthday parties.

If you are part of an educational group, such as a school, Scouts or Duke of Edinburgh Award, group leaders should complete a group booking form including full details of the number in their party and the number of tents and vehicles. The group booking enquiry form can be found further down the page.

Parking

There is parking available close by to pitches for one car. For safety reasons there is a one-way system in place. Those that have booked a bell tent will park on the edge of the camping field and can make use of our trolleys to move equipment to and from the tents.

Dogs/pets

Weston Farm Campsite is dog-friendly and well-behaved dogs are welcome at no additional charge. They must be always kept on a lead and exercised away from other campers. Please pick up after your dog right away.

Quiet times

Please be considerate of your neighbours. ‘Quiet time’ is between 10.30pm and 7am.

Fires/Barbecues

Campfires and fire pits of any description are strictly forbidden. Gas fuelled barbecues are permitted for cooking only, and must be raised off the ground. During very hot and dry spells we may have to restrict the use of barbeques entirely, please check with the campsite before arrival. Barbecues must be extinguished by 10pm.

Safety

Cooking inside tents is not permitted and can be lethal due to carbon monoxide poisoning.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any of the campsite units, facilities or Bell Tents. We kindly request that guest ensure that cigarettes are disposed of responsibly.

Pitches

We allocate pitches on arrival. We will always do our best to accommodate requests, but they cannot be guaranteed.

Lost property

We reserve the right to charge for storing or arranging the delivery of any lost property, and to pass on any costs incurred as a result. We equally retain the right to dispose of any goods not collected or claimed.

Problems or complaints

Every reasonable care will be taken to ensure that the camping pitch, Bell Tent and site amenities are presented to a high standard. Should you find any cause for complaint, please contact one of the campsite staff, so that reasonable steps can be taken.
