The secondhand bookshop is stocked with donations from our visitors

Our second hand bookshop is located behind the reception area. Since it first opened it has grown from a few books on a single table to a proper venue, with shelves displaying the huge selection of books from many genres and areas of interest.

It's stocked entirely with donated books and run by volunteers.

Stop by and pick up a bargain.

Furnish your own garden

Pick up a new plant

At Mount Stewart you can pick up more unusual species of plants that we grow in our own gardens. They're sure to be a talking point among your family and friends.

The plants for sale are spray-free, and most are grown on the property from our own stock using peat-free compost.

Buying Mount Stewart grown plants helps to support our conservation propagation programme, conserving our collection for future generations.
