- Signposted from junction 7 and 8a of A55, or A4080 to Brynsiencyn. Turn off A5 at west end of Britannia Bridge.Parking: Onsite parking available. 3 electric vehicle charging points are available. See “Facilities” for more information. You will require your own cables to charge.

- By bus
- The 42 bus route from Bangor to Llangefni (passes Bangor train station and near Llanfairpwll train station) stops on the Brynsiencyn road, near the car park. Please note: this service does not operate on a Sunday.
- Cycling
- Plas Newydd sits outside Route 8 of the National Cycle Network. After crossing the Menai Strait via the Menai Suspension Bridge, head north on Mona Road / A5 towards Beach Rd. Turn left onto Ffordd Brynsiencyn / A4080. After 1.4 miles, turn left to enter the car park. Plan your route to Plas Newydd using Cycle Streets journey planner via the link below. (This journey planner uses OpenStreetMap data which is generally excellent but accuracy cannot be guaranteed).

The Grade I listed landscape consists of 40 acres of garden and 129 acres of woodland and parkland. The tranquillity of the garden provides the perfect escape.

The Old Dairy Café offer a selection of drinks, cakes, bakes and lunches for you to enjoy. The Sunroom Kiosk offers a range of a range of snacks, including Red Boat ice cream.
Shopping
The Old Dairy shop offers a variety of gifts, homeware, local produce and seasonal items. You can find gifts for all occasions at Plas Newydd.
Play area
Find your sense of adventure in Dairy Wood. Explore the playground or enjoy a game of frisbee golf.
Red squirrels
Plas Newydd offers the best chance to spot a squirrel. Find a seat and look out for them on your visit.
Rhododendron garden
Why not venture to the Rhododendron garden. Follow the path for a half-mile to this secluded part of the garden.

Works by Rex Whistler and Kyffin Williams are among some unseen items secured for the future at Plas Newydd
Following private negotiations with the Anglesey family, National Trust Cymru have purchased six items that will enable Plas Newydd House and Garden to share more about its history and local links. These items have been kept in the Anglesey family’s personal collection until now and will be made available to the public for the first time. Another four items, which went under the hammer at Sotheby’s Auction on 11 April have also been secured, of significant importance to Plas Newydd.
