Quarry Bank Garden

Visit the riverside garden, the Mill Owner's picturesque valley retreat with its seasonal displays. Explore the terraced paths, riverside walks or see the 'hermit's cave'. Walk up to the beech tree at the top of the garden for magnificent views.

Apprentice House

The Apprentice House was built to house the pauper children who were sent to work at the Mill. Take a tour with a costumed guide and see how hard life was for child workers. Admire the Victorian vegetable and herb garden and the apple orchard. The details of everyday life in the Apprentice House are fascinating.

Styal village

Stroll to Styal village, built by the Greg family to house the Mill workers and still a thriving community.
