Primary schools can enjoy a fun-packed day covering a wide range of subjects.

Secondary school visits can expect a learning experience drawing on a variety of sources and evidence. Tours and resources can be tailored to suit your requirements.

Quarry Bank Mill hosts universities, colleges and adult learning groups to combine a great day out with further education courses and subjects.

Home Educated Groups

Quarry Bank is a great place for home educated groups.  Please book your visit through the Learning Office as we are a popular site for schools and cannot guarantee entrance on the day. Home educated groups are welcome in the week, during term time.

Quarry Bank Mill's pricing for educational visits is exceptional value. With so many attractions to enhance learning, it really is a fantastic venue for your trip.

EGM

If you are bringing a large group, or visit National Trust properties often, you may benefit from your school or university becoming an educational group member.

Self-led visits

If you'd prefer to lead your school round the Mill yourself than use one of our guides, this resource pack, which includes interesting activities, has all the information you'll need.

Contact the education team

We tend to be quite busy with school bookings throughout the year, so we advise enquiring at least a term in advance about visiting to make sure your group has a wide range of options and dates to suit your schedule. All bookings must be made over the telephone.
