Summer of Play is back – bigger and better than ever, with two exciting hubs of activity for families to enjoy.

Join us this summer for a season of play, creativity and discovery, with activities every day throughout the holidays.
Top floor play space – Let imaginations soar with soft play, fancy dress, crafts, puppet shows, giant board games and more. Daily storytelling at 11.30am, 1pm and 3pm.
Mill Meadow – Stay and play with a butterfly obstacle course, bee maze, loose parts play and more outdoor fun.
Upper garden – Challenge family and friends to giant garden games or relax in the shade on a deckchair.
Tennis Lawn activity tent – Enjoy a different activity each day. Here is what is waiting for you:
Make It Monday – Hands-on arts and crafts for all ages. Drop-in.
Tales on Tuesday – Storytelling with Histronics, filled with adventure and imagination. No need to book, just drop in.
Wayback Wednesday – Become history detectives on a family mill tour with clues, puzzles and a mystery to solve. Tickets available from Visitor Reception.
Turn It Up Thursday – Enjoy music workshops, live performances and traditional mill ballads. No need to book, just drop in.
Folklore Friday – Join an interactive Sleeping Beauty garden walk with storytelling and activities. Tickets available from Visitor Reception.
Wild Weekends – Discover nature with minibeast hunts, butterfly counts and other outdoor activities. No need to book, just drop in. No need to book, just drop in.
