Dear Future: I Leave This Place For You – The White Cliffs of Dover

Learn more about how a gift in your will could help us carry out crucial conservation work at The White Cliffs of Dover.

  • Booking essential
  • Free event

Without gifts in wills, we simply wouldn’t be able to look after the extraordinary places in our care. This special event will take you behind the scenes to see first-hand how your support is helping us carry out crucial conservation work every day, and how a gift in your own will could help to safeguard the future of our special places.

Join our specialist team for a guided tour at the iconic White Cliffs of Dover. Enjoy the magnificent views of the landscape in bloom, visit the Second World War gun emplacements and magazines, and gain insight into future conservation projects.

Enjoy an optional tour choosing from either the Fan Bay Deep Shelter – A series of wartime tunnels hidden in the chalk cliffs; or South Foreland Lighthouse, a Victorian gem standing proud on the White Cliffs; or an enhanced behind the scenes tour of the Gun Battery.

A local solicitor of the National Free Wills Network will be explaining why an up to date will is so important and we’ll share information on the National Trust's free will writing service. Over light refreshments, you’ll have the opportunity to chat further to members of the team and learn more about why gifts in wills are so important to our work.
