Great Big Green Week: Sustainable Woodland Management
Chat to our outdoors team about how we manage the woodland at Allan Bank and get hands on if you fancy it.
- Booking advisable
- Admission applies
Come along and chat to our outdoors team about how we manage the woodland at Allan Bank and see what we’re doing to mitigate flooding in the garden. If you’d like to get hands on you can have a go at building leaky dams and brash barriers to help slow the flow of water. Learn how we use the arisings from storm damaged trees to create wildlife habitats and dead hedges. Sturdy footwear required for this activity and waterproofs if it’s raining.
We’ll provide work gloves - you provide the enthusiasm. Many hands make light work!
