'In quiet times, listening to the birds or watching the red kites and gliders soar overhead. In busy times, meeting and chatting to interesting people. All this whilst knowing you are helping the conservation of a part of our countryside and history so that the area will not be lost to modern developments.'

- Sheila, welcome volunteer
