Experience this extraordinary home and unique work of art. All visits to 575 Wandsworth Road must be pre-booked and are by guided tour; find out how to secure your place, what to bring with you and how to get here.

Planning your visit

  • The house is open for pre-booked visits only every Thursday and Friday, and the first Saturday of each month at 11am, 1pm and 3pm from May to October.
  • All visits are by guided tour.
  • Due to the scale and fragility of the house, places are limited to six people per time slot.
  • The visit will last approximately an hour.

How to book your visit

All visitors must book your visit ticket in advance, including members. Please book one ticket per person. Children of all ages are welcome, although we ask that they are accompanied by an adult at all times.

Entry is free for members, but please bring your membership card with you. Non-members will need to pay when booking, except children aged five or under who visit free.

  • Tickets are for your use only and are not for resale
  • We'll send your booking confirmation by email. Please make sure you fill in your correct email address when you book to ensure you receive your confirmation email.
  • You can book up to four weeks in advance until 8am on the day of your visit.
  • New tickets are released every Thursday.
  • Please note that we cannot accept admission promotions such as the autumn pass. You can learn more about this here.

Arriving at 575 Wandsworth Road

As the house is on a busy road with no shelter we recommend you arrive no earlier than five minutes before the start of your tour.

The house is tucked away with no door number so you may need to count down from other houses to find us. Please wait at the bottom of the stairs and our guide will welcome you in when the tour is about to start.

What to bring

To help us protect hand-painted floors please bring a pair of rubber soled slippers or thick, gripped socks to change into before you explore the house.

In order to preserve our delicate interiors we kindly ask you not to take photographs.

You'll need to book tickets to 575 Wandsworth Road. Time slots are released every Thursday at 9am for up to four weeks in advance, and you can book until 8am on the day of your visit.
