Cafe
Potting Shed Café with indoor and outdoor seating. Stableyard Café open weekend and during school holidays only. Rose Garden Kiosk and Ice Cream kiosk (next to the Potting Shed Café) open over Summer only.
Plant shop
The National Trust's only garden centre has an extensive outdoor plant sales area. Open daily 9am-5pm. (Closed 25, 26 December, 1 January and Easter Sunday).
Car park
Limited Pay&Display Car Park. Free for NT members. Non-members receive 1.5hrs of free parking, beyond that there is an hourly charge. PaybyPhone: area code 803468 (or call 0330604037). Tickets can also be purchased at the Garden Centre. Free and paid tickets must be displayed. Car park close at 5pm.
Shop
The National Trust's only garden centre stocking gifts, local products and gardening accessories. Open daily, 9am-5pm (Closed 25, 26 December, 1 January and Easter Sunday).
Dogs
We welcome dogs on a short lead in the Rose Garden, around buildings (Stableyard, Snuff Mill), in the cafés, the Garden Centre, around the Adventure Play Area, on the Wetland Boardwalk. Please, always keep your dog under close control in the open parkland.
Toilet
Toilets and baby changing facilities are located in the Stableyard, Snuff Mill, Garden Centre and Potting Shed Café. Accessible toilet located in the Snuff Mill, Garden Centre and Potting Shed Café. All toilets have automatic hand driers.
Blue Badge parking. Adapted toilet at Snuff Mill. Grounds: loose gravel paths. Rose Garden: fully accessible. Wandle Trail: all-ability; Garden Centre: entrance level and accessible, induction loop. Cafés: Induction loop, wheelchair accessible. Wetlands: Boardwalk.
Accessible route and/or map
The majority of paths are gravel tarmac mix, flat with slight inclines up to bridges. The Edwardian Rose Garden is fully accessible. Please note, one path in north park become muddy during wet weather. All-ability trails: the Wandle Trail takes you along a well-maintained, flat path through the park, visiting meadow and wetlands along the way.
Level access to food outlet
Potting Shed Café is located next to car park, with entrance level and accessible. Food service via staffed counter.
Accessible toilet
Unisex accessible toilet is located in the Snuff Mill (170cm x 290cm (5ft 7in x 9ft 6in) with a right hand transfer and automatic hand driers at appropriate height.
Level access to shop
Garden Centre: access via bridge from main car park and through automatic doors. Entrance level and accessible. Access to outdoor section of garden centre also via automatic doors. Bookshop: Access via slight slope and single standard door, and the flooring is tiled/cobbled.
Designated parking
Four disabled car park spaces located along the edge of the car park, nearest to Potting Shed Café and Garden Centre.

Various benches throughout the park and in the Rose Garden. Indoor and outdoor seating available at the Potting Shed Café. Outdoor seating available in the Stableyard. Accessible picnic benches located by the Stableyard.

Off A24, and A297 south of Wimbledon, north of Sutton.

Tramlink to Phipps Bridge stop, on park boundary ½ mile walk from Stableyard.

The following bus routes stop on the boundary of the park: 80, 118, 157, 164, 201, 470, 93, and the K5 route terminates at Morden Station, a 500 yard walk away along Aberconway Road.
By bicycle
NCN20 passes through. Bike parking: main car park, in front of the Potting Shed Cafe and by the Snuff Mill.
Underground
Morden (Northern Line), then a 500 yard walk along Aberconway Road, or Wimbledon (District Line) then tram to Phipps Bridge or bus to Kenley Road.

There's plenty to do at Morden Hall Park this half term. Look out for the gazebo by the White Bridge and take part in our Weekend of Wildlife on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May. Then come on an adventure around the Rose Garden and take part in Robin Hood's Quest interactive theatre.

Respecting the park and other park users: our regulations
When Gilliat Hatfield left Morden Hall and its estate to the National Trust in 1941, he stipulated that the park should be available for the public for free which is the case today. However, we are a small team of staff and volunteers looking after this special place and need your help. To ensure that the park remains the urban oasis for everyone to enjoy, and for nature and wildlife to thrive, we have created the following guidelines.

Park

Rose Garden
Two-and-a-half-acre inter-war Rose Garden. Fifty formal flower beds, with around 45 different varieties of rose, all from the Edwardian period.
Garden Centre
The National Trust's only garden centre. Selling peat-free plants and seeds, fences, gravel, tools, statues, gifts and pet care.
Second-hand bookshop

Potting Shed Café serves a variety of hot and cold drinks, hot dishes and treats. Stableyard Café serves hot and cold drinks and light snacks. Dog-friendly.

Located in a former snuff mill. Organised activities for schools and groups.

Natural play area with log stepping-stone courses, swing, zip wire and climbing cargo net.

Young Maker's Market: Sat 18 May
Young entrepreneurs, artists and creatives from the local community will be showcasing their talents and skills in our Young Makers Market on Saturday 18 May. Head to the Stableyard if you're in the park and show your support by visiting the stalls.
Weekend of Wildlife: 24-26 May
Join our weekend of free activities in the park that explore the wildlife and nature that lives here. Help us count mice and voles that live in the park, bring your torches for a twilight walk or join in with with hands on nature-based activities. Some activities have limited spaces so need to be booked in advance. Please follow the link to find out more and to book.
Robin Hood's Quest interactive theatre: 29-31 May
Shadow Road Productions returns to Morden Hall Park this May half term for outdoor theatre with a difference. With their own twist on the story of Robin Hood, children can join the adventure on a thrilling trail through the Rose Garden to rescue Robin Hood from the evil Sir Guy of Gisborne. Tickets £12.50 per child and £3.50 per adult.
Grow Urban Festival: 8-16 June
Its Great Big Green Week from 8 – 16 June and as part of this initiative that raises awareness about climate change, we’re getting involved with the Grow Urban Festival. Join us for a variety of FREE events organised by Morden Hall Park’s Urban Ranger youth volunteering group, our Community Kitchen Gardeners and other community partners. Summer outdoor theatre - Hamlet: Thu 18 July
The Lord Chamberlain's Men will be returning to the Rose Garden this summer for their performance of Shakepeare's Hamlet. Tickets for this all make performance sell fast, so book your tickets now. Bring a picnic and something to set on and you'll be set for a wonderful evening of summer outdoor theatre. Tickets £18.50 Adults, £12.50 Children.
Family Theatre - Peter Pan: Sun 28 and Tue 30 July
Multi-award nominated Immersion Theatre invite you to soar away to Neverland as they proudly bring their trademark energy to their most magical musical to date, Peter Pan. Family Theatre - The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck: Wed 14 - Thu 15 Aug
Quantum Theatre is bringing to Morden Hall Park a delightful new adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s much-loved tale — The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck. This charming adaptation will have kids spellbound so grab a picnic and head down to the Rose Garden for an entertaining afternoon. About Morden Hall Park
Morden Hall Park is a green oasis in the city, giving you a taste of a country estate with a glimpse of its agricultural and industrial history. This tranquil former deer park is one of the few remaining estates that used to line the River Wandle during its industrial heyday. The river meanders through the park creating a haven for wildlife. The snuff mills, which generated the park's income in the past, survive to this day. We've renovated the western mill, and it's now used as a Children and Young People hub. The renovated Stable Yard is the heart of the park with a second-hand bookshop, café and facilities while surviving estate buildings are used as workshops by local artists. The park is also home of the National Trust's only garden centre.
When you step through the gates, you'd be forgiven for imagining yourself to be in the middle of the English countryside. Surrounded by meadows, an Edwardian rose garden, trees and the gentle sounds of birdsong and running water, the park offers a rare sense of discovery and a chance to get away from it all. Entry to the park is free for all.
