Take in the sights and sounds of local wildlife. Find out how reclaimed colliery land has been transformed into a haven for nature; hear about our projects to improve natural habitats and help various species thrive.
This event is free. Donations are very welcome and will go directly towards caring for Souter's coastal habitats and wildlife.

The basics
- Suitability
Children welcome, must be accompanied by an adult.
- Meeting point
Meet outside Whitburn Coastal Conservation Centre near the lighthouse car park.
- What to bring and wear
Sturdy footwear advised. There are no amenities en route so please bring a drink, sun cream, insect repellent and weather appropriate clothing. Toilets available at start.
- Accessibility
Some uneven paths and gentle slopes. May be muddy in places.
