Accessibility at Florence Court

We are working hard behind the to ensure that every visit to Florence Court is a positive and memorable one. Everyone needs nature and we are doing our bit to ensure that there are no barriers to accessing this special place.

Accessibility on site

We've made a number of improvements to our facilities and visitor offer lately to make Florence Court more accessible.

  • A mobility scooter are available to hire free of charge.
  • A wheelchair is available to accomodate house tours.
  • Audio loops are available in the Visitor Centre and café.
  • There is dedicated disabled parking located in the car park.
  • There are disabled toilets in the visitor centre and courtyard.

Mobility scooters

Florence Court has a mobility scooter and wheelchair available for visitors to use, free of charge. These can be reserved in advance of your visit by calling or emailing us, or requested on arrival at the visitor hut.

Who can use the mobility scooters?

Our mobility aids are for use by anyone who struggles with walking distances or has limited mobility of any kind.

Visiting Florence Court with your dog 

Florence Court is a one pawprint rated place. Dogs are welcome at Florence Court. Stride out through acres of parkland and historic woodland. Your dog will find plenty of opportunities for bounding, jumping, sniffing and splashing through the estate.

Enjoy seasonal dishes made with local produce in the Stables Tea-room. The second-hand bookshop is stocked with a wide range of pre-loved books to take home.
