Tattershall Castle is looking for volunteers with a wide range of experience and skills or who wants to learn new ones, and there is a role for everyone who wants to get involved. You will be helping to maintain Tattershall for the future and make every visit special.

Volunteer ranger

Grounds volunteers do practical work outside to keep the site looking great and functioning for visitors. If gardening is a passion or you are looking to get your hands dirty in the great outdoors, becoming a grounds volunteer could be perfect for you.

Second-hand bookshop volunteer

Have a good knowledge of literature? Volunteers in the second-hand bookshop help visitors find the best books in each section of the shop. They keep it stocked and ready for visitors to find their next favourite book.

Room steward volunteer

If you enjoy interacting with our visitors you will enjoy this role. It will involve being located in the Castle Audience Chamber and sharing your knowledge of the castle through informal conversations
