Celebrate your wedding day in style in the idyllic setting of Tattershall Castle, one of England's finest brick-built medieval keeps.

Our venue

Available to book for ceremonies or photoshoots, our friendly team are here to provide any help or advice you need.
Included in our offer is exclusive use of the Great Tower’s ground floor chamber (the ‘Parlour’) for your ceremony, a selection of wedding decorations to dress the space, and an optional drinks reception in the castle grounds.

The ceremony and drinks reception

The Parlour, with its magnificent high ceiling, intricately carved stone fireplace and striking stained glass windows provides a unique and intimate venue for you and up to 76 seated guests.

After the ceremony, enjoy celebratory drinks in one of three locations within the grounds or, in the event of inclement weather, in the Great Tower’s atmospheric vaulted basement.

Photography

Tattershall Castle is perfect for capturing memories of your special day. You might choose to pose in the grounds, on the battlements (with fantastic 360-degree views across the Lincolnshire countryside), against the backdrop of 16th century tapestries, or framed by one of the Castle’s many beautiful stained-glass windows.

Supporting you

Our Events team are always here to help and will work with you every step of the way. They can also provide lists of local suppliers such as photographers, florists, musicians, reception venues, and suppliers of seat covers.

Please note that Tattershall Castle is a Scheduled Monument and Grade 1 Listed Building and as such there are restrictions on how the site and its spaces can be used. This will be discussed with you when you meet with our Events Team.

Accessibility

There is a walk of approximately 100 metres, across gravel paths, from the nearest vehicular drop-off point to the ceremony space in the Great Tower. Access to the ceremony space is via two wheelchair ramps. For more about accessibility see Access at Tattershall Castle.
