Built in the fourteenth century to provide protection against Wales; delve into the history of the tower on one of our pre-booked, timed tours. The Town Walls tower has recently become one of the National Trust's newest holiday cottages and this adds a completely different flavour to the tour. The history of the building is still very evident making this quirky cottage definitely worth a sneaky peek. All tours are pre-booked and National Trust Members must produce their cards on arrival. Tours start promptly as space inside the tower is very limited, so late arrivals may not be able to be accommodated.

Call 03442 491895 National Trust Members should book a free ticket in advance and bring their membership card.

Due to the size of the tower children must be closely supervised at all times.

Town Walls Tower - Shrewsbury, Please be aware that there is no parking at Town Walls Tower. Public pay and display car parks are available around Shrewsbury.
- Accessibility
Due to its small size, entry is by tour only, limited to five places on each one. Please note Town Walls tower is made up of small rooms, with low ceilings, and access is via steps and there are steep stairs throughout.

Town Walls Tower is a small property, with narrow rooms and staircases. As such, entry is by pre-booked timed ticket at intervals throughout each open day.
