It's damson season and we have a bumper crop this year! Join our ranger for a tour at 1.30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week and discover more about our ancient orchards. You can also pick your own fruit and enjoy tastings of our renowned Damson jam, made on the Brockhampton Estate. Normal admission charges apply.
Brock-athon Great Walk
Sunday 21 September, Long walk starts at 10am, Short walk starts at 11.30am
To celebrate The Great British Walk annual walking festival, venture off the beaten track and explore previously unseen areas of our estate. At 10am join our ranger on a challenging mixed terrain, 5 mile circular walk. A shorter, less challenging guided walk will commence at 11.30am. Normal admission charges apply.
Meet the bats
Friday 26 September 6.30pm
Brockhampton is a haven for bats, come and join our ranger on a guided evening walk around Lower Brockhampton and see how it comes to life at night. Equipped with a bat detector, our knowledgeable ranger will enlighten you on the amazing secret world bats inhabit and show you how to spot them.

Warnings to the Curious
Friday 24 October, 7pm
Have your spines tingled and your bumps goosed with this atmospheric adaptation of the creepiest Edwardian ghost stories by Don’t go into the Cellar theatre company. Join M.R. James as he summons forth malevolent spirits and vengeful demons in these classic eerie tales. This thrilling performance will take place inside the manor house at Lower Brockhampton, with sound and lighting effects.

Up until now, only limited rooms of the idyllic manor house at Lower Brockhampton have been accessible to visitors. From the 19 July onwards we welcome you to come and explore the whole house and see previously unseen rooms open for the first time.
Through 600 years of existence, the house has been witness to many a change. Peel back the layers of history and discover more about key figures that have helped shape the building we see today.

A fun game for all the family, geocaching is suitable for novices and experts alike.
If you love the outdoors and have a sense of adventure, explore our estate and find hidden caches or treasures using a GPS device. We have GPS devices available to hire from our Visitor Reception (£5 charge). Don’t forget to bring some of your own caches to swap!

We’re celebrating our local producers with a monthly farmers’ market in the courtyard at Lower Brockhampton. Meet our tenant farmers as well as other local producers and crafts people.
Entrance for locals (WR6 and HR7 postcodes) and National Trust members is free. Otherwise, entry on the market day is at the estate price (adults £3.50, child £1.75, family £8.75).
