If you're joining us at one of our Trust10 events in 2026, here are some things you'll need to know. Trust10 is a free, monthly 10k trail run that gives you the opportunity to explore Brockhampton’s orchard and parkland. The event occurs on the 4th Sunday of every month between April-September.
The trail starts and ends at the Welcome and arrival centre at Lower Brockhampton. It mostly follows pre-existing waymarked routes, with pink Trust10 markers showing any divergence from these routes. It begins by following the ‘Orchard walk’ (blue route), which is a loop of approximately 2.5km, returning past the welcome and arrival centre to join the undulating ‘Woodland walk’ (green route), which takes you up the driveway and on to a wooded loop of approximately 3km. At the end of this loop, look out for the pink Trust10 waymarker at the point at which you need to turn left to start following the ‘Parkland walk’ (yellow route) up the driveway and into Lookout wood, with a very steep slope up the hill under spectacular Redwood trees. After joining the driveway again at the top of the hill, pink Trust10 waymarker will direct you across the park to the south west, on a short diversion which will link up with the ‘Herefordshire Views walk’ (red route) near the church. Follow the red arrows until a pink Trust10 waymarker directs you to turn right through a gate, where you will rejoin the yellow ‘Parkland walk, descending through the parkland, past the picturesque Lawn Pool, and returning to the driveway, which you will follow to return to the Welcome and arrival centre.
The route features a mixture of accessible paths, forestry track and unmade paths which can get muddy and slippery, and there are some steps in the woodland.
For full details of the route and a map click the button below.

The entire route is waymarked with pre-existing trail markers alongside pink Trust10 arrow discs. These waymarkers are permanent so you can run or walk the Brockhampton Trust 10 route any day of the year.
There is car-parking at Lower Brockhampton. If you are a Trust10 participant, please park in the over-flow parking.
Our carpark has limited space. We encourage you to lift share whenever possible. The carpark is adjacent to the Welcome and arrival centre where the Trust10 route starts.
There will always be a backmarker on the route with a radio/mobile phone and emergency lanyard in order to contact the event hub. There may also be marshalls to cheer you on and help direct you at various points depending on volunteer availability.
Marshalls and backmarkers will be wearing high-vis and Trust10 lanyards.
Our Granary kiosk is located in the courtyard and opens at 10am. There are toilets in the courtyard as well as toilets in the top carpark. The toilets in the top carpark may come in useful when you are on the Trust10 route section near the church. There are no refill points along the route, we recommend runners carry enough water with them to sustain themselves for the entirety of their run.
Participants must report to the registration table at the Welcome and arrival centre. This allows us to confirm that all participants have returned safely and to record the total number of participants for our records. There will also be a route information table with a map for runners to take a photo of and labelled pictures of important points on the route for runners to familiarise themselves with. Trust10 staff and volunteers will be wearing high-vis and answer any questions you have.
Runners must congregate near the Welcome and arrival centre for the pre-event briefing at 8.50.
Registration starts at 8.30, please don’t arrive any earlier than 8.15am to allow us time to set up for you.
The trail run will not be timed by the Trust10 team so please bring your own timing equipment if you want to record your run time.
It is not a race so there is no pressure to finish under a certain time, please take it at your own pace.
There is a maximum limit of 100 Trust10 participants. If this limit is reached, you may be turned away on the day. We would love for everyone to take part, but due to limited parking, the need to protect the land, and the capacity of our Trust10 team, we must put this limit in place.
The waymarkers are permanent for you to run or walk the trail yourself any other time.
In the event of bad weather such as high-winds, excessive ice, snow, rain the Trust10 event will be cancelled in line with our adverse weather policy. If a cancellation seems likely we will post a social media notice asking runners to check the Brockhampton website home page the morning of the Trust10 event.
There will be a yellow banner notice at the top of the Brockhampton website home page in the event of cancellation.

Anyone running Brockhampton’s Trust10 event must be 14+. 14-17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.
There are some sections of private road crossing on the Brockhampton Trust10 route. The route ventures into wooded areas where there is often poor mobile coverage and far from the event hub. We have graded it BLUE on the running trail guide. Please use this to inform your decision about running with your child.
We remind parents and guardians about the importance of minimum age on our website and during the pre-run briefing.
Dogs are welcome on short leads. Please make sure that the lead and harness you choose ensures the safety of both your dog, other participants and other daily visitors. Livestock is moved around the estate during the year, as well a deer that breed in the woodlands.
We do not recommend Brockhampton Trust10 for off-road buggies due to its steepness and mixed terrain.
We would love to welcome you to our friendly Trust10 team, roles include marshalling, back marking, and welcoming participants at registration. If you enjoy a Sunday stroll, love being outdoors, or like meeting new people speak to us on arrival or contact brockhampton@nationaltrust.org.uk
