General

  • Drinks and snacks supplied by Huffkins are available in our new café. You're also welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy in the grounds of the villa
  • Two car parks - villa car park, 15 metres from entrance; overflow car park (March to September), 250 metres from entrance
  • Coach parking, one space, 30 metres from entrance. Booked coaches only. Unbooked coaches may not be able to turn. Turning area not suitable for coaches over 12 metres long. We are only able to accept coaches Monday to Friday
  • Toilets are available on site
  • As the villa is a scheduled ancient monument we're only able to welcome assistance dogs onto the site however dogs are welcome to sit with their owners on the decking outside the cafe.

Access

  • Separate mobility parking and drop-off point, 10 metres from entrance
  • Thanks to ramps and lifts, the visitor reception, shop, café, and West Range (main mosaics, dining room and bathhouse) are all fully wheelchair accessible, regardless of the weather. However be aware that the rest of the site (including access to the museum) is mainly outdoors, and there are slopes, some steps, grass, uneven paths and undulating terrain. Access to these outdoor areas therefore may be more challenging following wet weather

  • One wheelchair to borrow on a first come first served basis
