There is something for everyone in the two shops in the Stableyard. The Gift Shop and the Museum Shop sell a wide variety of treats from cards and books to toys and games. You’re sure to find something you just have to take home with you. Both shops are open the same days as the Museum, from 11am to 5pm, so there is plenty of time to look around.

The Gift Shop

The selection of plants in the stableyard will brighten up your garden, especially if you treat yourself to some of the lovely garden ornaments we sell.
There is also a selection of garden equipment to help nurture your green fingers. Whenever possible we use local growers, including Sudbury Village Nursery just across the road.
Other local products include real ale, jams and chutneys and candles, so you can take home a treat that really is from the area you’ve visited. The shelves are also stocked with Sudbury souvenirs, from bookmarks to post cards.
Anyone visiting with an interest in Mr Darcy can reminisce about Colin Firth in the BBC production filmed at Sudbury Hall by taking home a variety of items including books and mugs.

The Museum Shop

Children and the young at heart can have fun in this toy shop choosing what they want to play with. Reminisce about the games in the Museum of Childhood with traditional toys like cup and ball and whip and top.
Or use your imagination with the toy knights and dragons. Pick up a story book or even play pick-up-sticks; there is something for you to have fun with.
Before you go indulge in the traditional sweets, there are lots of flavours to choose from
