- Free event (admission applies)
The Children’s Country House at Sudbury will be open daily from 10am to 5pm. The Stable-yard and gardens will be packed with activities for both the young and the young-at-heart to get stuck into. In the Stable Yard have fun with a giant ‘Marble Run’ by Wild Rumpus. Take part in active challenges on the front lawn and let your imagination come to life in the Gardens with a mixture of imaginative play and natural construction activities to get involved with. In the Hall, put your problem-solving skills to the test in our new Mystery Rooms experience: ‘The Queen’s Cure’. Get creative in the museum with crafting sessions linked to the themes of our current children’s fashion exhibition – ‘Wearing Feelings: Children in Black and Bright’. After a day of exploring, grab a light bite, a refreshing drink or a delicious ice cream from the café, or bring a picnic to enjoy in the gardens overlooking the lake.
