Start your day with a hearty breakfast and enjoy a visit from our Festive Fairy, who will be stopping by with gifts for the children. 

Our Festive Fairy is busy this season, so pre-booking is essential for all guests.

Admission to The Children’s Country House is not included with the breakfast event. Admission tickets and breakfast tickets need to be booked separately. The main site, which includes the museum, garden and hall, opens from 10am.

Enjoy a full English breakfast in the Fairy Tale Forest Café with our Festive Fairy.

Breakfast with the Festive Fairy

Brought to life by our volunteers and the skilled puppeteers from City Arts Nottingham, Star Child will be engaging families on both days with walkabouts in Sudbury Hall and outside in the garden. Then, as the afternoon light fades, Star Child will light up and glow with Christmas excitement. A unique and special treat for all our visitors this festive season.

All visits to the Children's Country House, which includes the Hall, museum, garden and café, must be pre-booked on our website. You can book tickets up until 8am on the day you want to visit (subject to availability).

In partnership with City Arts Nottingham, Star Child, an illuminated life-size puppet, will perform at The Children's Country House on 16 and 17 December.
