We need your help to conserve and enhance this unique estate for everyone to enjoy.

There are lots of opportunities to get involved. Volunteers help with gardening and wildlife conservation, lead guided tours around the abbey and garden, help with school groups and support our special events and functions.

Harrogate & the Dales Association

The Harrogate and the Dales Association was founded in 1978. We cover Harrogate, Boroughbridge, Knaresborough, Ripon, Northallerton, Thirsk, Leyburn, Aysgarth, Wetherby, Otley and Richmond and the places around.

Our annual programme caters for a wide range of interests and includes, enjoyable fund-raising events, social functions, illustrated talks, country walks, day trips and holidays.

A luncheon club meets on the first Monday of each month between October and April. There can be few better ways of making new friends than participating in Association activities with people of similar interests.

A lively Newsletter is published four times a year to keep members informed of the activities of the Association and of forthcoming.
