But did you know that if you buy from us you can follow in Beatrix's footsteps by supporting the work of the National Trust here in the Lake District. Beatrix Potter bought 14 Lake District farms and 4000 acres of land during her lifetime to help conserve them, and left them to the National Trust for us to look after them following her death in 1943.

Profits made here go to support our conservation projects at Hill Top, the Beatrix Potter Gallery and the surrounding countryside. So you can buy that extra special Beatrix Potter gift or treat direct from Hill Top shop or our internet shop and know that like Beatrix you're helping conservation here in the Lake District.
