Inspired by Beatrix Potter’s timeless tales, Hill Top is transformed for Christmas as her charming characters prepare for the festivities. Inside you’ll find stockings at the end of the bed, animals dancing around a twinkling tree and the warm scent of gingerbread in the air. Outdoors, you’ll find a family‑friendly trail and winter warmers from pop‑up catering. Look out for an exclusive charity pin badge and kick off your Christmas shopping in Hill Top’s shop.

There is no wheelchair or step free access to the upper floor of the house. A video of the upstairs rooms is available to view on a tablet. Some steps into and out of the garden and uneven surfaces in the garden. Steps down to the toilets. Ramp available for shop entrance. Braille & large print guides are available also a tactile tour. Please ask at house front door if you would like these.

On arrival please make your way to the visitor reception building located in the car park.

Children are welcome but should be accompanied by an adult.

There is limited car parking on site and a maximum two hour stay. Car parking is free but space is tight so please arrive in time for your booked timeslot. Please note that the car park is not suitable for mobile homes and campervans. Dogs on leads allowed in garden, but not in the house.
