Located in Grantham, Belton is the perfect country house. Built for Sir John Brownlow in the 17th century, this elegant house has stunning interiors with fine plasterwork ceilings, portraits, exceptional furniture and intricate wood carvings.

Belton is set amongst magnificent formal gardens and beautiful parkland. The 35 acre gardens comprise the Dutch garden, the Italian garden with its vivid colours, the statue walk and restored orangery.
Belton House has two rooms that are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. Photographs can be taken in the gardens, on the north terrace or in the orangery.

The Tapestry Room
The intimate Tapestry Room is home to the 18th century Diogenes tapestries. The room was previously used as a dining room and a parlour.
When can civil wedding ceremonies be held at Belton?
Ceremonies can take place on Mondays and Tuesdays, between April and October.
Receptions
The North Terrace is available for champagne receptions and the East Lawn can be hired as a marquee site.
