Did you know it costs approximately £12,000 to maintain Lyme's dry stone walls every year? Find out more about how we conserve and restore these walls and the work of our dedicated team of walling volunteers on this free guided walk. On the way you'll see exceptional views of surrounding Manchester and Cheshire, and pass by ancient woodlands and historic follies, which have provided the backdrop to Lyme for centuries.
This guided walk has no charge. Entry to our places are free for members. For non-members normal admission charges to the estate will apply.

- Suitability
Children over 12 welcome.
- Meeting point
Please meet at the Refreshment Kiosk in the main car park at 10.15am. Please arrive 15 minutes before the walk start time.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear suitable footwear for walking and clothing suitable for the weather.
- Accessibility
This walk is of moderate difficulty. The route does not always stick to footpaths and the ground can be steep and uneven at times. The route includes a flight of steps and a ladder stile. Accessible parking can be found in the main car park and at the Orangery.

Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the walk start time to meet your guide. Dogs on leads are welcome.
