Milling in Action- National Mills Weekend

Come and see Dunster's rare double overshot watermill in action with a day of milling and talks to celebrate National Mills Weekend.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

There has been a working mill on this site in Dunster since at least the Domesday Book. The current mill dates from about 1780 and still mills flour to this day.

Come along on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May from 10am-4pm to see the mill in action, chat to our millers and learn about how it works on a mill talk.

Enjoy bread and apricot cake taster treats made from our own spelt flour available to purchase in the mill shop. Explore the bin floor (the top floor of the mill) newly opened this year.

Normal admission applies.
