Join us on this guided walk and hear stories about some of the fascinating people who, over the centuries have left their mark on this beautiful landscape. From those who sought to keep sailors safe and protect them from shipwreck to those seeking to improve the lot of the agricultural labourers and to the shepherds tending their flocks.

Meeting point

Meet outside the Birling Gap Café where our friendly guides will greet you. Please have your booking confirmation ready to show.

What to bring and wear

The weather can be extreme on the Seven Sisters so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Ensure you bring water and sunscreen. Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead.

Accessibility

There is uneven and hilly terrain throughout the walk.

Other

The walk starts at Birling Gap car park and is approximately 3 miles long. Suitable for the moderately fit. There are grazing animals along the walk.
