'Making Faces' tree trail
Head on a walk around Fountains Abbey and see how many clay faces you can find hidden in the trees.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Find the clay faces hidden on tree trunks around the estate. What faces can you make? Can you look fierce like a gargoyle? Or mysterious like a green man?
Take inspiration from the clay faces you find and have a go at making your own. Pick up fallen leaves, twigs and feathers on your journey to help make your own wild art clay face.
