Magnificent meadows! Wildlife walk
Celebrate National Meadows Day with a short walk and talk around the estate's wildlife meadows.

Join one of our ranger team for an hour long walk and talk around the site. Discover what work is being done to regenerate the meadows across this special World Heritage Site.
This walk is suitable for people of all ages. Perfect for families, botany beginners and those who just want to learn more about the wildflowers across Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal.
This walk is running twice throughout the day, at 11am-12pm and 2-3pm. The morning session will stick to hard standing paths in the deer park and water garden. The afternoon session will head deeper into the deer park and go over mixed terrain. There will be some steep inclines on both walks as you head to the Banqueting House.

- Meeting point
Meet your guide at Studley Ticket Office, a 30 minute walk from the Visitor Centre and West Gate ticket office Or you can park in Studley Car park. Please note normal car parking charges apply.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
- Accessibility
The morning session will stick to hard standing paths in the deer park and water garden. This route is suitable for prams, mobility scooters and wheelchairs. The afternoon session will head deeper into the deer park and go over mixed terrain. There will be some steep inclines on both walks as you head to the Banqueting House.
- Other
Car parking charges for Studley car park are £6 for four hours and £10 for the day. National Trust members park for free when you scan your membership card. If you're a National Trust for Scotland or English Heritage members, please ask a member of the team for for a parking card.
