Arrive by steam train or ferry

Kent and East Sussex Steam Railway

Start your visit to the castle with a relaxing journey by steam train or ferry.  Bodiam Castle is a short walk from Bodiam station on the Kent & East Sussex Steam Railway and Bodiam Boating Station has a landing stage on the river within the castle grounds.

Your group members can sit back and relax and watch the castle appear in the beautiful Sussex landscape as you approach by rail or river.  Choose between a single or return journey and if your coach needs to wait in our car park, we'll reserve parking for you.
