Demonstrations by Call to Arms at Bodiam Castle

Be transported back in time and onto the Medieval battlefield with expert demonstrations.

Call to Arms is a group with a passion for history and training in Historical European Martial Arts. Dressed in full armour, they show what medieval combat may have looked like, through showing weapons and explaining techniques. 

Members of Call to Arms will be available to answer questions from 10.30am–3.30pm, with displays at 11.30am and 2.30pm.

21 March, 11 April, 16 May, 20 June, 4 July, 12 September & 10 October.

Wear clothing appropriate to the weather.

Accessibility

Access to the castle is over gravel paths which can be muddy in wet weather. There is a step free route to this part of the castle courtyard and is accessible for wheelchair users. Please see the access pages at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/bodiamcastle
