Get hands on with wildlife conservation. Meet one of our rangers for a morning of small mammal surveying on our estate.

Learn how and why it is important to track and record small mammals living on the estate. Check and set up footprint tunnels for small mammals such as voles and dormice. This event includes walking along our woodland trail which is approximately 5km.

Join us for small mammals surveying on the estate from 9am-11.30am on Thursday 16 May in the Kingston Lacy woodland.

£10 per person, limited spaces available. Tickets on sale now. Please note this does not include entry fee into Kingston Lacy.

If you are a member please have your membership card ready to be scanned. If you are a Non-member please note you will need to pay £19 ( or £21 for gift aid) in addition, for admission to the property (card only)

What to bring and wear

You will be surveying in the woodland, so please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the time of year. Sturdy boots or wellies advised.

Accessibility

This event includes a walk along our 5km woodland walk. Which may include bending and some physicality. If you would like to attend and would like to discuss your access requirements, please call 01202 883402.
