South West Outdoor Festival 2017 is taking place 8-10 September on the edge of Cheddar Gorge, amid the wild terrain of the Mendip Hills.

SWOF celebrates outdoor adventure as well as live music, film, food and guest speakers. In partnership with Cotswold Outdoor and the Mendip Hills AONB, it’s an inclusive event with experiences for all ages and abilities.

The South West Outdoor Festival is a celebration of adventure and outdoor activities. This year you can enjoy hiking, biking, running, sailing, SUP, kayaking, canoeing, camping, climbing and caving. You can even try your hand at archery, axe throwing and skiing. The festival also features live music, films, fine food and guest speakers. Hosted by the National Trust, in partnership with Cotswold Outdoor and the Mendip Hills AONB, it’s an inclusive event, with challenges, experiences and entertainment for people of all ages and ability levels.
