Supporter groups

Interested in making the most of the National Trust near you? Join your local supporter group to enjoy special interest talks, visits, holidays and other social and fundraising events or hands-on conservation activities.

What are supporter groups?

Sharing unique experiences, socialising and finding out more about the places you care about is what being part of a local supporter group is all about. There are three different types of groups you could join.

Centres and Associations

Centres and Associations promote our work and raise money for conservation and development projects through all kinds of events, from expert talks, behind-the-scenes tours to relaxing holidays.

Volunteering groups

National Trust volunteering groups help support vital conservation work at our special outdoor places, from constructing footpaths to restoring natural coastal habitats.

Friends groups build unique relationships with a single National Trust place, and members can get involved through volunteering, organising events and fundraising for the future.

Supporter groups in the East of England

Across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk, you’ll find friendly and welcoming groups of like-minded people, united by their passion for the National Trust.
