Holidays Covid-19 update

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to your National Trust Holiday soon.

Following the latest update from government, we’re closing all of our holiday cottages, bunkhouses, bothies and campsites in England from 5 November until 2 December inclusive. We hope to welcome you again from 3 December, pending government guidance.

We’re pleased to share that we’re reopening our holiday cottages, bunkhouses, bothies and campsites where possible in Wales from Monday 9 November, in line with Welsh Government guidance.

Our holiday cottages and bunkhouse in Northern Ireland are open and ready to welcome guests, in line with the latest restrictions. We’ve temporarily closed Castle Ward campsite in Northern Ireland until 27 November due to government guidance. Crom campsite will remain closed until March 2021.

Thank you for your support as we regularly review this situation. Find out more about our flexible Covid-19 booking promise and other FAQs here.

From miles of golden beaches to tumbling waterfalls and towering mountains, it’s hard to beat Wales for an escape from the everyday. This winter, explore beyond your doorstep and make new memories with a stay in one of our cosy holiday cottages. Please note that Welsh Government guidance states that you should only go on holiday with people from your own household, and should be resident in Wales to book a holiday here.
