About Bodysgallen Hall and Spa

Set in 200 acres of wooded parkland, with views across to Snowdonia, this restored 17th-century hotel and spa is an ideal spot for a romantic retreat.

When you stay at Bodysgallen Hall, outside you’ll be surrounded by award-winning gardens and vast wooded parkland, perfect for lazy sunlit strolls, and inside you’ll be tempted by the fine dining 3 AA Rosette restaurant and the spa (with its 50ft swimming pool, treatment rooms, steam room and sauna) – the perfect combination for a relaxing break.

Sitting prettily on Pydew mountain, Bodysgallen offers a quintessential country house style break in a unique setting within 200 acres of parkland. Inside, choose from traditionally styled rooms in the main house, or converted cottage suites, with views across the gardens to Conwy Castle and beyond to the craggy peaks of the Snowdonia National Park. Take time to discover the beautiful walled rose garden and the herb-scented parterre, as well as the Grade I listed Hall itself.  And once you’ve worn yourself out exploring, then recharge at the health and fitness spa, treat yourself to Welsh afternoon tea or try a sensational meal in the restaurant.

If you can bear to tear yourself away from relaxing at the hotel and gardens, then you’ll find the pretty Victorian seaside town of Llandudno just two miles away. You’re also only a stone’s throw from the Snowdonia National Park and all the incredible scenery Wales’s highest mountain range has to offer.

The hotel is also able to provide executive services for corporate and business hire, and its stunning location means that management away days, meetings and seminars all take place against the stunning backdrop of the Bodysgallen estate, with spa and leisure activities also on site to unwind after a day of work. Choose from a variety of different sized meeting rooms in a converted 18th century stable block just next to the hotel. And with parking and wifi as well, business guests are free to focus on the important things.

With its beautifully unique setting, and those sensational Snowdonia views, Bodysgallen is also available for weddings, tailored to your individual requirements, including exclusive use for a day or weekend with all 31 bedrooms, cottages and suites. The hotel caters for small, intimate ceremonies, or larger celebrations with up to 200 guests in a marquee in the grounds. As well as weddings, it’s also the perfect venue for naming ceremonies and civil ceremonies with its gorgeous gardens and history stretching back to the 13th-century.
