A converted barn with panoramic views over Falmouth Bay and easy access to the beach.
Chenhalls Barn enjoys outstanding views over Falmouth Bay from its first-floor living room. Originally part of nearby Chenhalls Farm, this historic barn has been sensitively converted into comfortable holiday accommodation for up to five people.
Enjoy a long, lazy lunch in the cottage’s private garden before taking a stroll down to the nearby beach. Carry on along the footpath to reach the Helford River. Here you’ll find Bosveal and the small village of Durgan, with its exotic gardens, sheltered beach and former fish cellars.
A little further afield is the typically Cornish town of Helston, and the Penrose estate. The estate is home to a wooded area surrounding Cornwall’s largest natural lake and perfect for explorers young and old.
You'll have free entry to Trelissick, Glendurgan Garden, Trerice and other National Trust places during your stay.
Lower hall, three bedrooms (one double with 5' bed with en-suite bathroom, one double with 6' king-size bed which can be made a twin on request, one single), bathroom with shower over bath.

Access: There is a deep ditch running between the cottage and the parking area. Guests are asked to be mindful of this when parking and children should be supervised at all times when outside the cottage. There is also a steep stone stairway with metal banisters leading from the parking area to the upper entrance door.
Parking: The parking area is at the front of the cottage.
Heating: Night storage heating included.
Garden: The barn has its own garden, and a nearby path leads down to a lovely beach and to the coast path for walks towards Falmouth or the Helford River.
Telephone: Limited reception for mobile telephones.
Wi-Fi: We provide free Wi-Fi access which is supplied by BT. Please note intermittent connection problems can occur and line speeds can vary as can coverage within the building. The connection is unlikely to be suitable for gaming or streaming.
